In their talk, Klearjos Eduardo Papanicolaou and Nitin Bathla will discuss how filmmaking can serve as a generative medium for critical discussions around architecture, urbanization, and sustainability. They will showcase a number of film excerpts including from their recent film “Not Just Roads” to discuss how filmmakers untangle and narrate complex relations that underlie terms such as sustainability. They will explore the strategies and motifs adopted by filmmakers to storytell for a broken planet.
